Some circuit bent instruments are artfully decorated by their creators while other benders prefer to leave the toy as is. Even others put the creation in a new cabinet ("rehousing") to make an etirely new aestetic.
Every method has it's advocates. Leaving teh toy in original form is obviously the easiest approach. I like to give my instruments a "laboraory" look, but as I prefer bending, playing and performing instead of designing the instrument, I more often keep the original look of the toy. |
